Good news in the medical battle against COVID-19

Experts confirm that we have the world’s first eradication of one of the COVID-19 variants. The B.1.621 variant, also known as the Mu variant. This, due to the health days that allowed a lot of people to be vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus. Another positive and good news is that both the pharmaceutical company Merck and Pfizer are producing the first oral medications, which will treat patients infected with the coronavirus, so they can reduce the need to be hospitalized. Medicine must always be practiced as a profession and not as a business.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in patients infected with the coronavirus, COVID-19.

If the patient has an emergency and requires cardiopulmonary resuscitation, considering that a person’s life depends on a few seconds, the doctor should not waste time looking for masks or protective equipment to avoid catching the virus the patient has. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation should begin immediately, even if this endangers the life of the physician as it is vital to save the patient’s life. The recommended method is for another doctor to put on the corresponding protective equipment, to relieve the doctor who is assisting the patient at that time.

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us that there is no greater gift than giving his life for others.
