This passion led her to study medicine in Cuba and complete her degree in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Her path continued in the United States, where she furthered her education in nursing, obtaining a master’s degree and a doctorate.

The center’s name, Yeshua, comes from Hebrew and means Jesus, reflecting the deep faith that inspires Dr. Perez Prieto. “Basically from its origins as Jesus, for us who walk in faith and who walk in our beliefs to God, we see Jesus as the son of God,” explains Dr. Perez Prieto. This spiritual approach is complemented by the center’s slogan: “We teach you to live in health,” which sums up Yeshua Medical Center’s mission to guide its patients toward full wellness.
